SoundPoint Strings
SoundPoint Strings is the premiere community youth orchestra and group lesson opportunity in the Collegedale/Ooltewah area. We help students discover the Joy of Ensemble, and share that joy with the greater community through performance.
What's in our name?
Just as the sound-point is the point of contact between bow and string, SoundPoint Strings is the point of contact between teachers, students and parents. Using ensemble as the focus, we commit to excellence in musicianship, relationship and character.
What we Do
“SoundPoint Strings exists to raise dedicated, educated, service-minded, positive-thinking young musicians. We are Christ-centered and open to all students regardless of religious preference. SoundPoint focuses on bringing glory to God through excellence in the arts, developing joy through ensemble and developing hearts for service.
SoundPoint offers two string orchestras (Intermediate and Advanced) along with a Training Orchestra, Chamber Music Experience, Music Theory on 3 levels, Suzuki Group Classes for strings, Music and Motion classes and a Parents’ Circle. Pre-Twinklers through high-schoolers are welcome. Parents are expected to participate.”
